Field Test: Chinese Laundry Gladiator Jellies
I was so thrilled to see the Chinese Laundry gladiator jellies on luckymag.com last week. They seemed like the perfect way in to a sometimes-intimidating trend...I've wanted to try gladiators but the heavier, darker versions kind of scare me. So I gave the clear jellies a shot. I figured, what can I lose for $25?
Not only are they super-flattering--I got more compliments on them than on any other pair of shoes I've worn!--but they're surprisingly comfortable. I walked over the Brooklyn Bridge in them (my morning commute)!
