Festival Style: The boots I should have bought before All Points West

I'm not exactly certain why I thought I'd be exempt from the music festival mud phenomenon. I mean, I was around for I've only spent the past three MONTHS on the internet looking at celebrities mucking around Glastonbury, splattered like friggin' Jackson Pollack paintings (please see Kate, Stella, Daisy, Alexa, Pixie). But did I wear my rainboots to All Points West over the weekend? No. Do I even OWN rainboots? NO.

But I will soon: I just ordered these black dual-buckle Chooka galoshes on endless.com (LOTS of great boots--check it out). They won't get here by the time I leave for Lollapalooza--my last show of this festival style-filled summer--on Thursday, but whatever. I'll have them next year. And forgive me if this is a really stupid question, but rainboots double as snow boots? Because I don't have those either. Maybe they're not warm enough. Anyone?
