Guest Bloggers: Introducing the Rugby Team
At Rugby, we like to say that style is all about studying the classics, but writing your own rules. The Rugby girl takes iconic pieces and puts her own unexpected spin on them. She'll mix sensibilities--a tweed blazer with a lacey dress, for example--to create an eclectic look that's uniquely her own. Or, as Natasha (above), a sales associate in our Chicago store, puts it: "Rugby has a little bit of rebelliousness in its clothing, which really appeals to my sense of style."
Our design team looks to vintage elements for inspiration, andreinvents classic pieces in modern cuts with a sexy, edgy feel: ablazer in vintage fabric with a modern, slim fit, for example, orflirty knit minidress based on a 1940s varsity sweater.
All this week, we'll be sharing our style tips; head here tomorrow for our advice on how to incorporate sporty pieces into your wardrobe.
