Reiss Gets Grungy; Launches Rockery Denim Line
Click here for the first glimpse of Reiss' edgy sub-brand, Reiss 1971, that arrives in stores at the end of this month. The new capsule collection is heavy on trendy denim, with zipper piping details, white jeans delicately sprayed a faded grey, and even a pair of high-waisted kick flares that aren't too far off from what you'd imagine, say, Patti Smith wearing in the 70s, which is where Reiss got inspiration for one of the style names ("Ballad", "Goldrush" and "Hendrick" being three of the others in this music-fashion closet mash-up). And prices hover just below $100 -- which makes it all the more enticing to also try on the black boyfriend tuxedo blazer with gold zips, zebra-print scarf and a rockery-print tee that are in the collection as well.
