Sneak Peek: Rachel Rachel Roy Resort 2010
I've always liked Rachel Roy's uber-sophisticated clothes, but I don't really have the champagne-and-caviar lifestyle that calls for her brand of swanky glamour. With the launch of her Rachel Rachel Roy collection for Macy's this fall, though, others like me who are not making the rounds of the charity circuit have been able to get Roy's chic look with a decidedly more casual/urban edge.
Last week we previewed Rachel Rachel Roy's Resort 2010 collection, andthere were tons of things I'm dying to buy when the line hits storeslate this fall.
Roy says she designed the diffusion collection for a younger customer who want clothes with a cool, downtown vibe. She's clearly gotten it right as the line, with prices between $59 and $299, has been selling like crazy. In addition to sportswear, the line has expanded with equally great shoes, bags and jewelry.
