Two Bras Too Good To Hide Under Your Clothes

I've been seeing more and more exposed lingerie lately, most recently on The Sartorialist, where yesterday photographer Scott Schuman posted a shot of a girl on the street flashing a black lace bra under a racerback tank. Herewith, two affordable, embellished bandeau styles that would be perfect for capitalizing on this trend.

At Otte, one of my favorite West Village boutiques, there's this all-over lace version ($28). It feels a little 80's Madonna, and though it's made of lace it's fully lined and cut rather wide, so you don't run the risk of showing too much skin. From Ron Herman, there's this one with a snakeskin print ($32). The pattern is so finely detailed it looks almost textured, and it's particularly unexpected on an undergarment. Neither have underwire or really offer any kind of support, so for once less-endowed girls like myself have an advantage! I like the thought of either one peeking out from under this drapey tank dress from T by Alexander Wang.
