An Awesome New Tech-Fashion Collaboration
Anyone who's ever shopped for protective covering for her gadgets knows how dismal the options can be. Stylistically, most range from boring to hideous, or are attractive but impractical. Which is why I'm thankful for the new product launch from InCase made in conjunction with Brit ready-to-wear designer Gareth Pugh, Paris boutique Colette, and edgy fashion biannual AnOther Magazine.
The collection consists of a limited edition laptop sleeve and iPhone case with an abstract, geometric motif. The pattern looks like a riff on splintered glass, and if you zoom in you'll see some of Pugh's signature stars scattered throughout. I've had an InCase computer bag for almost a year now and can vouch for how well made it is, and though I'm totally satisfied with it, it's hard to resist wanting to swap my solid one for the printed version. And in terms of iPhone cases, this is the first I've seen that I'd actually be psyched to carry, rather than looking like utilitarian concession. Both items can be ordered online through AnOther Magazine's site, and will also soon be available for purchase stateside at Opening Ceremony in New York and LA.
