Celebrity Beauty Audit: Whitney Port of "The City"

SO. We all know I LOVE a celebrity beauty interrogation--so when I got an email announcing "The City" star Whitney Port's lipstick collaboration with Cargo Cosmetics ($2 of every sale goes to St. Judes Children's Research Hospital), I pounced on the poor lipstick publicist and demanded to know exactly a) what hair products Whitney uses (pro- or anti- MTV "reality" shows, there's no denying that her hair is MESMERIZING) and b) the perfume she wears (I've always been creepy like that, you know). AND I wanted details about the lipstick.

WELL. My skills as an investigative journalist are major, because I got answers:

HAIR MUST-HAVES : "Enjoy Luxury Shampoo and Conditioner. They keep my hair feeling healthy and soft, which is hard task because of the coloring and hot tools always used on it."

FAVORITE PERFUME: "I can't get enough of Trish McEvoy #3 Snowdrop & Crystal Flowers Spray.I love it not only because it smells so fresh and light, but because mybest friend's mom always wore it while we were growing up and itreminds me of childhood."

THE LIPSTICK: "Of course, I'm also really into my new Cargo PlantLove lipstick shade, Eve Pinky,because the hot-pink is so fun to spice up my look. Since I don't weartons of makeup, the lipstick makes a statement on its own."

And there you have it! Thank you, Whitney. I now want every product that you mentioned. Sigh. It's the hair. I'm telling you.
