Etsy: On Earth-Friendly Bags and Questionable Brooches

Sometimes I'm a jerk to the planet. On occasion, I'll throw out an extra-gross cat food can instead of recycling it, buy a liter of water in lieu of drinking out of my Sigg, and chemical bomb the mold out of my shower while our earth-friendly, lemony-dirt cleaners go unused. This is why I need to buy vintage and recycled leather bags.

The Etsystore Patkashas a handful of sweet, sleek, eco-conscious designs, mostly by way of clutches (a purse type I feel no girl can have enough of). I'm especially loving the simplicity of this oversized slate gray style. It's just big enough to hold all of your stuff, but it's not awkward in that Incredible-Shrinking-Woman -with-a-giant-bag way. The shop also churns out an array of pretty flower pins but I can't tell if they're Carrie Bradshaw good or totally 1999 dated. (?)
