Etsy: Where we witness a style showdown

It's a strange and perhaps disturbing phenomenon the way women who truly love getting dressed often resent other stylish women. But it happens. All of the time. During Fashion's Night Outlast Thursday, I entered a packed, tiny coffee shop and witnessed the funniest, bitchiest interaction between the barista and a customer.

Girl one (barista) was wearing cute tie-dye leggings, a perfect chambray shirt, pretty makeup, braids-as-headband,and broken-in tie-up booties. Girl two (customer) was Megan Fox-esquewith dark hair slicked up in a bun, bright red lipstick, a blacksparkly tank, pleated black trousers, very complicated heels,and a gorgeous yellow cuff. After totally checking each other out, G1and G2 barely made eye contact, exchanged snotty one-word responses,and at one point, before G2 stormed out, each gave a rendition of an"Ugh" snort. It was hilarious. I was behind them and wanted bothoutfits, especially that amazing bracelet (you can find one just like it--and tons of other amazing jewelry pieces--at the Etsy store BPA Metal Craft).
