Fashion Week Scorecard: Diane von Furstenberg
The Show: Diane von Furstenberg
The Scene: Diane always shows in the Tent, the largest venue at Bryant Park--and it is always packed to the rafters with fans, editors, and celebrities. The theme this season was "Oasis"; the runway backdrop was an image of palm trees and sand-colored stone buildings.
The Celebs: Michelle Trachtenberg, Simon Doonan of Barneys, Patricia Field, Arianna Huffington, Blake Lively, and Candice Bergen, among others
The Music: Madonna's "Erotica" mixed with some other very danceable tunes
The Models: Plenty of big names like Chanel Iman and Coco Rocha
The Look: Goddessy, boho-luxe: Lots of beautifully draped silk and jersey dresses worn with slouchy oversize linen blazers, a smattering of gold and animal prints, and tons of accessories--bangles, belts, and laurel-leaf crowns. The models hair was long, loose, and crimped.
What We Loved: The glamorous, tropically-printed maxi dresses, which in typical DVF fashion looked extremely flattering and comfortable
