Hair Copycat: Headband Ingenuity
I spotted this French girl on a ferry trip during my recent vacation in Greece and immediately became obsessed! I love a good headband, but this girl took her hair accessory to a whole new level. I had to capture her style so I could study it and make it my own. I snapped a few stealth photos and got to work.
I have to say I think I did a pretty good job approximating her style.
It was easy: Just pop a headwrap (one with some stretch) around thetop of your head. Start tucking your hair into the wrap from behind.Add a few pins for security and leave a few pieces out in front toframe your face, and you have a perfectly undone updo that looks waymore complicated than it really is.
I can't wait to take this look intofall with a few richer an possibly more opulent bands, like this satinwrap from Urban Outfitters and this sequined band from TrueBirds.
