Help Me Please!

So I'm in the middle of a gigantic move--or, to be precise, I've moved, but there is a mountain of boxes and bags in my apartment. Like, it would be best to scale it only with a harness and lead guide.

I've given a lot of thought to storage solutions (it only has one, large closet, which I'm now required to share!)--like a freakish, OCD amount of thought. It doesn't help that my boyfriend is an architect/interior designer and so he's equally obsessed. We've dissected the merits of about eight different kitchen trash cans (I care about aesthetics only, he cares about aesthetic AND function) over the course of just as many dinners. We finally settled on this awesome one, from OXO.

But meanwhile, we can't find the perfect thing for the bathroom. I generally hate all bathroom storage--big, clunky, overpriced. I want a simple, white (ideally ceramic) bin, near the sink and the power outlets, into which I can deposit hair tools. This is impossible to find. I've been taking a lot of advantage of The Container Store's shelving sale (25% off through October 18) including ordering an Elfa closet for an entire wall, but they don't have the perfect thing either (the closest I can find in concept is thisspice packet storage bin for a kitchen cabinet).

I also like this little pot from Ikea, but I'm not convinced it's quite large enough.

I know this sounds so strange, but please help! Desperate times over here! I'm one of those freaks who can't unpack until I have the perfect place to put everything.
