Party Hopping: After the Marc Jacobs Show
Last night at Maritime Hotel's Hiro ballroom, all the beautiful people in New York showed up for Marc Jacobs' after show party.
Janet Jackson, Liya Kebede, Prabal Gurung, Phillip Lim, Harley Viera Newton, Becka Diamond, Paper 's Mickey Boardman, and, of course Marc Jacobs with boyfriend Lorenzo in tow, all gathered to celebrate Marc and await the arrival of Lady Gaga.
After waiting for over an hour for the Lady to begin her set, oneimpeccably Lanvin-clad Gaga fan was overheard saying, "This needs tohappen right now, I'm wearing 5 inch heels!" Why not take them off?"God no! I had these specially made by Ricardo." (Givenchy, of course!)
When she finally took her place on stage, Gaga (in a vintage red lace gown, with spiky hair and over-the-top makeup) made it well worth the wait. "She's low key tonight," whispered an audience member. I totally had wardrobe envy.
The crowd sang along to acapella versions of her hits "Poker Face" and "Just Dance", enjoying the down time on an otherwise hectic day.
