New Arrival: Gryphon For Anthropologie

Gryphon, a line I've long been devoted to for its imaginative, perfectly tailored coats and dresses, just debuted two (much less expensive!) pieces exclusively for Anthropologie.

First, there's this swingy royal blue shift covered with spiky, tribal-looking silver beads all around the collar. It's laid back enough for day, dressy enough for a party, and would work well year-round (I'd wear it with ballet flats and a slim trench now, and add wool tights and a black cashmere cardigan as it gets colder).

Then there's this floral mini in diaphanous silk chiffon, which would look so cute even with something as simple as a tee and motorcycle boots. The dress is $188 and the skirt is $148. While not cheap, they're significantly easier on the wallet than the line usually runs, and these pieces are especially versatile. I'm already hoping for more from this collaboration to come.
