Postcard from Milan: Pollini
Fashion director Hope Greenberg reports from the runways of Milan.
Pollini has gone through a series of transformations recently, trying out different designers and identities. And now, with Jonathan Saunders at the helm, it looks like they've come up with a winning look.
Saunders created a collection (shown presentation-style in a pretty, light-filled showroom) full of pieces that would be the perfect complements to almost all of your wardrobe staples: zippy checked or faded pastel chiffon tops and dresses to layer under blazers and sweaters; trompe l'oeil prints on silk to liven up simple pants or skirts; and accessories that would completely change the look of all of your basic black.
