So, I Own No Pants.

During my recent closet purge, I took stock, and what I deduced is this: I (still) have 20+ pairs of jeans, about 18 cardigans, 96 dresses (!!!), and 30 button-downs. What I don't own? Pants.

I have four serviceable pairs. Perhaps this is because I work in awonderful universe where denim is totally work-appropriate, but I domiss the days of warm wool trousers and slick black pants. After all, Idid go to a high school where jeans were banned, which meant mountainsof cords and khakis. Back in the day, nothing was as wonderfullystraight-leg and brightly colored as these (now $15 off at the Gap), which makes me all the more excited to buy a pair. Plus, they just scream fall! So...what are you guys sorely lacking in your closets?
