Totally Surprising Boot Obsession

I've been a bit remiss in my blogging (apologies!) because I've been filming a handful of fall-based TV segments, including this one on theCBS Early Show about handbags and shoes, a topic on which I can converse pretty endlessly. We highlighted three of the main trends from our September Shoe Guide and our October Bag Guide, which came to include these over-the-knee boots from Guess.

I would never, in a million years, think of adding over-the-knee bootsto my wishlist, but this particular pair, in a soft grey shade, seemactually wearable--and at under $200, nicely affordable. They're soawesome in fact that Indira, the real girl who modeled them for us onthe show, pre-ordered them, inspiring the wardrobe woman and the makeupartist to do the same. I'm not sure why they look ruched up the back inthis photo, but in reality they're totally straight and sleek.Meanwhile, while clicking around Guess' site, I cam across this enamel flower ring--really pretty, right? And only $25!
