Micaelan Davis makes the kinds of bags that look effortlessly cool, like the way some girls wear perfect rips in their jeans or small, front-of-the-head braids. They're casual, not in any way structured, but still manage to remain stylish and neat. I love them mightily.

Part of the appeal comes from the bags' construction: They're all hand-stitched from high-quality leather, following the natural curves of the hide. Davis adds just one inorganic element, a magnetic-snap closure--often, for styles like envelope clutches, not even that. The result is free-flowing, offbeat and lush, the kind of accessory you want to wear on a date with a new guy and show just how breezy, a little weird, but totally pulled together you really are.
