Henry Duarte Channels David Bowie for J. Brand

It was only a few months ago that J. Brand announced its collaboration with designer Hussein Chalayan. Now, not long after the fruits of J. Brand's partnership with the avant-garde London designer hit stores, the denim company has announced a new collaborator: Henry Duarte. The latter appeals to a significantly different set than Chalayan--mainly LA rock-adoring style seekers. They should be excited: the denim in question is inspired by none other than David Bowie's classic LP, Ziggy Stardust .

The LA Times has the details: "The three styles of jeans are all super-skinny, featuring a 10-inch leg opening: There's the Raygun, a skinny with exposed zippers; the Ziggy, a low-rise black-toned skinny; and the Sufragette (get it? 'Suffragette City') another low-rise skinny with lace-up detailing at the waist and ankles." The slim-fitting denim will retail for $250 a pair and hit stores (including Barneys New York, Bergdorf Goodman, Intermix, and Ron Herman) come December.
