Looking for Salvation in a Tweedy Jacket

I don't know about you, but, lately, getting dressed has been making me very cranky . None of my new clothes seem to go with my old ones, I'm over-layering, I'm missing specific items like a perfectly cut black skirt, and every outfit that worked last fall now seems like a Lauren Hill song I loved 10 years ago and can never bear to hear again.

However, it's not all darkness. I have the beginnings of a sort of equestrian/English countryside/"Sylvia Plath: The later years" look going on. It involves flat horsey boots, messy-ish long hair, a thin sweater layer and my new jeggings from Madewell(sure, they're the closest thing to giving up since sweatpants, but you know what? They look like great-fitting jeans from the mid-butt down and NO ONE needs to see the elastic band).

Anyway, if I'm going anywhere with this style, I need a good tweedy blazer (and perhaps a side braid) and I need it now. Today on eBay, I found these contenders: a '70s version, a gray look from Pendleton and this, which is double breasted and perhaps ideal.
