Madewell and Lucky in L.A.: The Celebrity Edition

So as a wrap party of sorts for our Lucky/Madewell Denim Tour, we rolled out the red carpet on Tuesday night at Bar Marmont for one big, final party. Sadly, there was no shopping to be done (just drinking, and photo flipbook making, and Tarot Card readings with Rachel Bilson's mother), but all the adorable girls who came out sure made me want to go back to Madewell the next day and stock up on more chain-and-rhinestone embellished racer tanks and leather boots.

One of the things that's so great about Madewell (and one of the reasons we love it so much here at Lucky), is that you can take the pieces in dramatically directions, as evidenced here:

For example, our last three cover girls--Rachel Bilson, Kristen Bell, and Mandy Moore--couldn't have looked more different. Bilson wore her Madewell polka-dot blouse with a printed skirt (masterfully mixing prints, I might add) and a really rad stud-embellished bag. Bell wore an elegant grey silk dress from the line and added color by way of one of the signature printed scarves. And Mandy wore jeans, a simple t-shirt, and a leather jacket--with bright red shoes.

Meanwhile, Lauren Conrad paired her lace-trimmed Madewell mini with a slouchy boyfriend blazer from herline for Kohl's (cute, right?), which has already blown out of stores.

And finally, Rashida Jones and Joy Bryant both looked effortlessly cool. I loved Jones bright red lip and metallic plaid top (good call on pulling the sleeve out from under her Madewell herringbone jacket, right) and the fact that Bryant was doing the denim leggings with a tough motorcycle boot.

And that's not all. For load more pictures, including shots of Eliza Dushku, Anna Faris, and Kat Dennings, click here.
