Rad Affordable Art
There will always be a debate about whether art can be affordable. I am firmly, firmly in the yes camp--beauty is a pretty relative thing, don't you think? Thus, the brilliance of sites like 20x200.com.
This is the concept: Artists create limited-edition prints and photographs, which hit the site on Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 3pm EST. The small prints (10" x 8") run for $20 a piece (and are in a relatively high-edition). As the prints get larger and rarer, the price goes up, topping out at $2,000 for one of a set of two. I'm coveting this Chad Hagen infographic--I have a huge soft spot for anything rainbow-centric (stay tuned for pictures of my color-coordinated bookshelves...). There's tons that I love, though, including this Kamping Kabins photograph.
