Shopping Jimmy Choo x H&M: Here Are the Rules

The Jimmy Choo for H&M Collection, in stores on November 14, might be the most hotly anticipated designer collaboration of all time. If you're even thinking about buying anything from the collection, a game plan is necessary. Enter How To Shop Jimmy Choo for H&M, the retailer's online manual for navigating the crowds and store policies on opening day.

From the very detailed rules, it sounds like they're expecting total madness. A sample dictate: If you're one of the first 160 people on line, you'll receive a bracelet stamped with the time you'll be allowed to shop the shoe, accessory, and bag selection (that section will be strictly controlled for the first two hours of the launch). On the site, you can also find the closest H&M outpost that will be carrying the collection. Be sure to log back onto HM.com on October 29, when the collection will be posted in its entirety, to plot your shopping strategy down to the very last shoe (or handbag, or dress).
