Sock Sale: A Lot Of Happiness For $7

Buying new socks online was definitely not on the long to-do list I have going before I leave for Savannah this afternoon, but when I noticed that pretty much the entire inventory of Happy Socks is on sale at revolveclothing.com, how could I resist?

If you've been keeping up with this column, you already know I have a major fetish for colorful, patterned socks. Reader katherinejlee had mentioned the Happy Socks line, which prompted me to look into it further, and not only do they do socks in especially great prints, but they're made of really fine combed cotton with hand sewn toe seams for a perfectly smooth fit (no more of those bulges that often happen right around the stitching on the toes). They're also made by the same factory that produces socks for the Belgian and Turkish armies, which gives me confidence they're built to last. Right now there's a whole slew of options on sale for $6 and $7 (and the site's free shipping policy makes the deal all the better). I stocked up on a bunch of stripes in red, blue, purple, and pink.
