Wall-E Makes My Apartment Smell Incredible

Ok, fine, that's not the famous trash-collecting robot Wall-E you see here, but this egg-sized orb (officially known as the Slatkin & Co. Scentbug Home Fragrance Oil fan) is at least as endearing as the cartoon robot, and I say endearing because it's both highly functional and want-to-paste-googly-eyes-on-it cute. It's a wee device, but it somehow totally makes my new apartment smell ridiculously clean, fresh and airy--but SO not in a perfume-y way. Additional gratification: guests always tell you, when you open your front door, that your house smells amazing (when this happens you don't have to explain; just let everyone think that's the natural scent that you...exude).

I put my Scentbug over the vents of my air conditioner to spread the gorgeousness even futher and get more compliments. And it's just SO effective, it even conquered the weird hamster cage (shudder) scentof my new floorboards. My favorite of the add-in oils is Sensual Amber--but there are a bunch of new ones coming out soon that you MUST try. What do you use to make your home fragrant? Share!

P.S. Confession to Teen Vogue beauty director Eva Chen (her awesome blog here!): every time we see her in the cafeteria, we want to say hi in the Wall-E "EVVVV--A" robot voice.
