Yay or Nay: Reverse Roots?
I am pretty enamored with the girl over on the right in this Sartorialist picture (who seems like she might be friends with Romolini's artsy/intellectual/vintage-eyeglass-wearing girl, no?).
Here she is again--same girl, I'm pretty sure:
But I know the blond-to-black thing* is not a look I could EVER pull off (maybe brown to black? But...no, I don't think I could even do THAT). I dunno, it seems to me a VERY tricky thing to master if you're not currently a winsome college co-ed majoring in graphic design at the Fashion Institute of Technology. What say: Do you appreciate it on others, hate it on others, think the coolness of the look expires around age 18, or what?
*The official name for it, btw, is "ombre hair."
