3 Reasons Why I Need These Steve Madden Combat Boots

1. Because ever since I saw adorable Ellen Page earlier this fall in Whip It pulling off a similar pair with leggings and polka-dot dresses and cardigans, I've thought, "Now, that is a casual, hip, slightly disheveled look for me!"

2. Because I can't do Dr. Martens. I've tried and they make me look like Olive Oyl and also because I have no patience for the "breaking in" period required with all Docs and these are already broken in with a perfect silvery-black patina (and, 20 years since my first pair of combat boots, I don't care if this instant worn look makes me a poser).
