Caroline Rogers of It Looks Good To Me: Baby, It's Cold Outside

We're completely enamored with textile designer Caroline Rogers' recently launched blog Itlooksgoodtome.com--so much so that we featured Rogers in our December issue. Not only is her taste exquisite, but her illustrations (which accompany every post) are pretty gorgeous, too. We've tapped her to guest blog all this week on Lucky Right Now.

I love winter (really, I do). I love rosy cheeks and cozy indoor activities. I love winter food like stews and hot drinks. I even love the snow. My family thinks I was an elf in a past life.

The one thing I don't love about winter is the coats! No matter what I am wearing, I always end up throwing my big black coat over everything. It makes every day feel like more of the same and for me that just won't do.

Instead of investing in a million coats, I've developed a passion for winter accessories. I may wear the same coat day after day, but I switch out my hat or scarf or gloves. It's just enough of a refresh to feel like a whole new outfit--and it keeps me warm and toasty.
