Brangelina: The Couple That Designs Together

Hollywood's most recognizable couple, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, are getting into jewelry design...together. The duo has crafted a capsule collection, named The Protector, for the British design house Asprey. (It's not Pitt's first crack at jewelry: he designed pieces for Damiani in the past.) The snake-centric line, which Jolie can be seen wearing here, has been in the works since last year and will retail at Asprey stores (outposts of which include London, New York, Beverly Hills, Tokyo and Dubai).

According to Women's Wear Daily, "prices start at $525 for a silver baby spoon with a curving, serpent-shaped handle...Prices for the top-end pieces have yet to be confirmed and includediamond, black diamond and emerald pavé rings; bracelets; earrings,men's cuff links, and dress studs."

Why the snake motif? Apparently while pregnant with Shiloh, Jolie received a snake ring as a gift and has since considered it a symbol of protection for her family. Though eye-catching, this is by no means a vanity project for Pitt or Jolie: All net proceeds from sales will benefit the Education Partnership for Children of Conflict, a charity cofounded by Jolie.-Alisa Gould-Simon
