How much are you willing to spend on winter gloves?

I have two half-sets of winter gloves in my closet (why I'm holding on to the singles is beyond me, though I guess it's because I think that maybe the missing piece will miraculously turn up). And they're both righties, so I can't even wear them together and try to pass it off as a mini-trend. The worst part is that I think the sets were expensive.

I would argue, in fact, that the more you spend, the more likely you are to lose them. Right?

Butsince gloves are an absolute winter essential, going without them isjust not an option. I think I might just buy some of these cashmere (!!!) L.L. Bean gloves in bulk--maybethree pairs in one go. I might even scoop them up in the same colorscheme so that they're completely interchangeable. Smart move, right?

What'sthe outermost amount of money you'll spend on gloves? (These are$29.50, which seems pretty reasonable considering the material).
