Lace Tights, Three Ways
I've been seeing more and more girls around town wearing lace tights. I'm all for them--they're pretty, feminine, and graphic all at once. The trick is to keep the rest of your outfit simple, so there's no competition for your legs as the focal point of your look. Here, three good options for $20 or less should you decide to road test the trend.
From Urban Outfitters, there's this antique-y Victorian lace version (at left, $14) comprised of intricate, oversize flowers.
The swirly, abstract paisley motif on these DKNY stockings (center, $20) has an Art Nouveau feel.
Navy blue adds a subtle twist to Topshop's lush blossoms (at right, $16).
