Lands' End Gets an Update!

Usually when I'm clicking around the Lands' End website it's to peruse the home goods (I adore their cable knit throws) and I tend to shy away from the clothes. But on Wednesday they debuted a new line called Canvas and I'm smitten. It's full of preppy, totally practical staples that are surprisingly budget-friendly (all of the jeans are under $50!) and I'm thinking about stocking up.

Here are a few standout pieces that may or may not be in my shopping cart right now:

I wear Oxfords pretty much all the time and at only $32.50, I'm tempted to buy two in white--one to wear now and one to wear when I inevitably stain the first one. Do your white shirts always attract spots too? Or is that just me?

These pants are just perfect--slouchy, simple and made for ankle-rolling. Plus, the whole Canvas line has a more modern fit (read: no mom jeans!) than the traditional Lands' End collection.

I love this trench. It's classic, well-constructed and (possibly most importantly) affordable!
