Lucky Shops 2009: Last Night's Star-Studded Party

Judging from last night's opening party, Lucky Shops 2009 is already a success. Lucky staffers have spent most of today comparing great fashion finds and celebrity sightings from last night's VIP event, but don't take our word for it--see the scene for yourself, courtesy of our friends over at The Thread:

Even those of us who came vowing to save their money for the even larger discounts on Saturday were ultimately tempted by all of the amazing clothing, accessories, and beauty products on display in the boutique booths. As Socially Superlative wrote, "someone over at American Express must be having a heart attack right about now..." And our Jeanius Bar--stocked with Citizens of Humanity, J Brand, Goldsign, and more all weekend--was enough to move Racked to puns, thanks to "the 'genius' (sorry, had to) Hemming Station, where shoppers can drop off their jeans to be hemmed in 45 minutes." Even Lake Bell, who was busy being our incredible co-host for the evening, found time to go bargain hunting.

Fellow celebrities like 30 Rock 's Katrina Bowden and Ugly Betty 's Ana Ortiz also found plenty of deals that they couldn't pass up.

Melissa Joan Hart, Jennifer Morrison, and Amaury Nolasco also walked the Lucky Red Carpet to support Dress for Success, which received all the proceeds from ticket sales for that night.
