My new favorite Etsy store: Small Earth Vintage

In my (ever-humble) opinion, the best vintagepurveyors always manage to pull off the following: They're consistently well-stocked, their prices are fair and their inventory tells a specific, fantastical, and seductive story without appearing like a costume shop. The adorable Etsy store Small Earth Vintage has all three in spades.

It's owned by a woman named Karen, a former New Yorker and children's book editor who now runs Small Earth Vintage out of her old-timey lake house in Grand Rapids, Michigan. There's a lot to covet here--Karen has a great eye for glamorous, understated, just really feminine pieces from mainly the 40s through the 60s--and vintage freaks like myself will have a hard time choosing between the unique dresses, pretty bags, and lively heels. I want everything.

P.S. Never fear if you don't want to seem too self-interested around this time of year: Some of the current items (like a vintage black mini suitcase or this very cool enamel and gold chain) would also make excellent gifts.
