Narciso Rodriguez for eBay? Yep, it's true!
Last September, when New York Mag's blog The Cut reported that the deeply amazing Narciso Rodriguez might be designing a special, affordably-priced line for our favorite auction site, we were dubious (chic NR pieces for $75 to $350? No way!) and didn't want to get too excited. But judging from this interview posted on The Inside Source, the news is very, very real.
Rodriguez explains that he likes to be associated with industry leaders, like eBay, that he shops the site (!), and that the goal of this collection was to "dress many women of all ages, of all shapes and sizes...to take what I do and reach more people, in a different way." As for the clothes themselves, this sneak preview reveals at least two totally wearable dresses we're dying for and one very sleek black coat. Stay tuned: The collection hits eBay in spring 2010.
