Net-a-Porter Snaps Up Ashish Gupta's Chic Party Styles
Over the past few years, Net-a-Porter has solidified its reputation as one of the world's leading online retailers of designer fashion. But, until recently, designer collaborations haven't been part of the UK-born site's focus.
Last year the virtual boutique partnered with Marios Schwab (whorecently took the reigns at Halston) to sell exclusive styles from thedesigner, and now, it's Ashish Gupta's turn.
Vogue UK has an exclusive look at the London-based designer's pieces for the e-tailer, which Guptahimself described as "a range of beautiful easy-to-wear pieces in softshimmer black and metallics...perfect for easy evening glamour." Standout pieces from thecollection include a sequined black boyfriend blazer; a silversequined, long-sleeved minidress; and a black sequined puff sleeved minidress that offers a slightly softer take on the severe shoulder that was so popular this year.
