Obsession-Worthy: Online Consignment Shops
In both the November and December issues (on stands now), I wrote about online consignment stores in the Web Pages (covetshop.com and designersocial.com, respectively). And I just found out about another, that's totally worth a bookmark.
Yoogiscloset.com specializes in super high-end, marquee-name pieces(think Chanel bags and Cartier jewelry), that's all pre-owned. It'sbeautifully photographed and clearly presented, and most importantly, the authenticity is guaranteedby the site (there's also a 30-day return policy, which is prettygenerous in my experience). It's totally worth clicking through all ofthese sites, particularly if you're looking for a specific or sold-outpiece.
On the flipside, if you have pieces you want to consign, but there's no equivalent to Ina your city (Ina is a great chain of consignment shops here in NYC, who is incidentally now producing their own collection), you can ship to one of these sites and have them sell it off for you. There's tons of info here on how to go about the process. What's with All the Spam in the Comments Section?
