On the Hunt for...Furry Earmuffs (a Reader Request!)
There's something about earmuffs that immediately makes one feel feminine, snow-bunny-ish, a little offbeat and totally playful too. They're superior to hats in that they seem dressier and also won't muss your hair. I've owned many pairs. Given all of this, I was beyond, beyond thrilled when reader Kalligrrl7 wrote inasking me to track down the perfect set of "soft and furry earmuffs." Mission accomplished.
My initial search* on eBay turned up some very good options, including a glamorous vintage style from the '40s and this ever-so-slightly insane (in a good way) oversized version which I really want for New Year's Eve. If our friend Kalligrrl7 is pining for faux-fur alternatives, there's also this fuzzy look from Victoria's Secretand an ideal,
