Quite Possibly The Perfect Bra

Yesterday Jenn talked about how she has an incredible perkiness-inducing bra that's nearly perfect--except for the fact that it leaves welts/cuts on her ribs. Yikes! I've tried a lot of bras out there, and I've settled on one style that's so good I refuse to wear anything else.

It's the Francesca by Le Mystere. I've mentioned it before, but it's so amazing it bears repeating. With the all-over, scalloped edged lace and demi cups, it's satisfyingly pretty/sexy. But even more importantly, between the underwire and the memory foam lining, it gives you just the right amount of lift--it's definitely chest enhancing, but not so crazy va-va-voom in the way of a push-up bra. They also last for years and are extremely comfortable (no chance of injury with this one). I've got it in about half a dozen different colors (there's also one with smooth, non-lacy cups that happens to be on sale for $44.99 for those of you who're looking for more of a t-shirt bra) to rotate throughout the week.

It's also worth noting that the nude it comes in is the perfect neutral: not too rosy, not too pale, nor too dark, so it's barely detectable even under something sheer (BTW the picture you're looking at above shows it in pink, not nude, since I couldn't find a clean shot of the latter). If you're into colorful lingerie, there's a red/cream version marked down to $39.99. And if you want a little more coverage, try Le Mystere's Isabella style, which is basically the same thing but with a slightly fuller cup.
