Robert Clergerie Designs Espadrilles for Opening Ceremony
It seems like every other day Opening Ceremony announces a new designer collaboration. Recently, they've worked with Chloe Sevigny, Betsey Johnson, Pendelton, Bass, Keds, and Osaka's Master-Piece. Now comes word that shoe designer Robert Clergerie has created four exclusive styles for the retailer based on his classic espadrille.
Another Robert Clergerie collaboration: shoes he designed for Vena Cava's spring 2010 presentation.
The shoes, which will feature "fabrics including indigo-dyed linen, classic polkadots on linen, and a special hand-painted floral print," will be priced from $460 and will debut in stores in February.-Alisa Gould-Simon
