The Chicest Coat You'll Ever Find For $56

I was first clued in to BB Dakota this past spring, and now it's officially my favorite line for on-trend, bargain-priced fashion. Today I stumbled on the coolest, most sophisticated piece I've seen from them yet.

Check out the Davies coat. It's got a neatly tailored, boxy silhouette with three quarter length sleeves, the combination of which always reminds me of Jackie O. The ruffled collar is what really gets me though--it's dramatic in scale, but as far as embellishments go it's still pretty understated. The result looks very high fashion French, and way, way more expensive than $56. I like the idea of playing up the ladylike side with elbow length leather gloves and a sleek pencil skirt. Or for weekends, I can totally see this over a cashmere sweater, with straight leg jeans and round-toe flats
