Toms Upgrades With Bergdorf Goodman and Neiman Marcus
Toms Shoes is going luxe... well, relatively speaking, that is. Blake Mycoskie's widely successful footwear line (which donates a pair of basic, espadrille flats with eye-catching prints to a child in need for each pair sold), is branching out. Mycoskie will be launching a holiday collection exclusively at Neiman Marcus and Bergdorf Goodman.
As far as fabrics to expect, WWD says they'll include "metallic linensfor women and silk-tie fabrics for men." Overall the look will bedecidedly higher-end as compared to the majority of shoes Toms produces, a change that will be reflected in the pricing (styles will retail between $78 to $125). But, fortunately, each pair bought packs all of the feel-good satisfaction of any other Tomsshoe purchase.-Alisa Gould-Simon
