Vena Cava's Secret Sources: Etten Eller
Lisa Mayock and Sophie Buhai are the Brooklyn-based designers behind artsy label Vena Cava, a favorite around the Lucky offices. This week, Lisa and Sophie share their top shopping destinations on Lucky Right Now.
Tini Bloom is the wonderful woman behind Etten Eller. She introduced Lisa and I to each other right before we started school at Parsons--we are forever grateful to her for that.
Tini started her delicate and thoughtful line while finishing herstudies at the Art Institute of Chicago. She initially made jewelry outof reclaimed watch parts, scavenging around to find leftover piecesfrom old jewelers and at flea markets.
Today, the collection has evolvedinto simplified tribal collars, brass pearls, and delicate Dada-esquependants. Her pieces are sold at Barneys and Maryam Nassir Zadeh, and they arenot to be missed. Be sure to check out her beautiful website!
