Caroline Rogers of It Looks Good To Me: Warm and Toasty Boots

We're completely enamored with textile designer Caroline Rogers' recently launched blog Itlooksgoodtome.com--so much so that we featured Rogers in our December issue. Not only is her taste exquisite, but her illustrations (which accompany every post) are pretty gorgeous, too. We've tapped her to guest blog all this week on Lucky Right Now.

One of the greatest things about living in New York City is being able to walk everywhere. I love the sights and sounds I encounter every time I decide to forego the subway in favor of a nice stroll. And I think winter is one of the nicest times to walk around the city. Ilove the glow of apartment windows in the evenings, peeking intofogged-up restaurants, admiring local decorations, popping in and outof shops. Winter in New York can be quite romantic. It's a great seasonfor falling in love with the city itself.

For my many outdoor walks, I need shoes that will keep my feet warm (while, of course, looking stylish). Luckily enough, retailers are offering some great winter boot choices that promise to protect you from the elements during your holiday excursions.
