Barneys Is Coming To Brooklyn!

Brooklynites are abuzz today over the widely circulated (but not yet officially confirmed) news that the on-trend department store is shopping real estate in Cobble Hill.

The news is somewhat surprising considering Barneys' rocky finances of late, but seems to signal a turn in the right direction. The chain currently boasts 42 sites, including three Co-op stores and a flagship, but has yet to expand to a borough outside of Manhattan. If rumors are true, they are looking to open a Co-op on shopping mega street Atlantic Avenue--home of Steven Alan, the newly opened Jonathan Adler store, and other Lucky favorites.

We're keeping our fingers crossed--and we'll keep you posted!
