Soy Candle: Burn It Or Wear It
Have you ever wanted to dip a spoon into a scented candle and rub the melting wax all over your skin? I just bought this Viva Verde "Zen Garden" soy candle, not realizing that it's a "moisturizing candle," and that they encourage precisely that.
The candle's green floral scent is beautifully refined -- bergamot, lime and white grapefruit are the primary notes -- and since it's made of soy oil instead of wax, it burns for up to 80 hours without producing smoke or soot. The soy oil doesn't get too hot, so it really does make a fantastic moisturizer. It's cheap enough to buy in multiples ($34) and give as gifts. So: Candle/Moisturizer? What other beauty mashups would make your life easier?
