Who Knew Fluorescent Underwear Would Look So Great On A Wall?

I was walking up Broadway in downtown Manhattan the other day when I literally stopped in my tracks to take in a huge swathe of neon-hued underwear, dangling provocatively on a Victoria's Secret wall. It's possible that I'm feeling predisposed to shop Victoria Secret for lingerie right now because of Michael Bay's new holiday ad for the brand, but regardless, I marched right in.

For years, I've been faithful to the very ubiquitous, but very comfortable Hanky Panky low-rise thong (is there a boutique counter in this country that doesn't house at least one glass bowl of them?), though I recently started adding Gap Body's boyshorts into the mix, too.

But now, I might have something new to obsess about--the Lacie, in bright shots of color like Neon Yellow (there's a wider range of hues in store than what's represented on the website, I think).

I'm also loving the hiphuggers, particularly in this really pretty pinkish purple. Right now, they're three for $30. And if I know Victoria's Secret at all, I bet there are a ton of other promotions going on right now to make the price even better!
