Blue Tree is a charming boutique on the Upper East Side of Manhattan owned by the actress Phoebe Cates (anyone who hasn't seen her in Fast Times At Ridgemont High should rent the dvd immediately to check out THE ultimate '80s high school flick).
All of the merchandise in the store, which includes women's clothingand accessories as well as gifts for men, home, and baby, feelslovingly hand-selected and curated. The website has a good assortmentof these special wares but the other reason to have a look is to seeCates' hilarious short film, The Perfect Husband (click on Blue TreeFilm) featuring her and her real-life husband, actor Kevin Kline.Undoubtedly and somewhat disturbingly, the "perfect husband" Klineplays in the short is the "master of the universe" hedge fund dude theyencounter weekly in their high-net-worth-neighborhood shop.
