Christie's Launches Complimentary Gucci Appraisal
If you fancy yourself a Guccicollector (or prospective collector), Christie's auction house has something just for you: The new Gucci Collection for Christie's. The free service will, based on photos and scanned documentation, tell you if what you have is real or faux.
The Cut tipped us off to the complementary online service, which promises answers within two to four weeks. Gucci Collector by Christie's will assign the piece an appraisal, which includes an auction estimate--and a chance to sell it or place it for auction.
